Artist Applauds

The current issue of Rolling Stone (Sean Penn is on the cover) has a special “Backstage at the Rock & Roll Inauguration” feature that includes a picture of Elaine and John applauding the festivities. Of his performance at the historic “We Are One” concert at the Lincoln Memorial, John said: “I played to the president. The rest of the people looked like a painting.”
