Autographed Mellencamp Guitar Auction Benefits Local Music Program
Indianapolis/Bloomington radio station 92.3 WTTS--which covers John's hometown vicinity--is putting up for auction a Fender guitar signed by John to benefit its "Band Together" program.
The program, which is now in its seventh year, raises awareness and donations for local school student musicians and music programs. It has raised tens of thousands of dollars through listener generosity, and has sent over 100 kids to local band camps to learn more about music.
